Lucknow is set to become India's first AI City, with land identified near the Defence Expo site for a project to be completed in two phases. The initiative, a public-private partnership, aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a global AI hub. The city will feature innovation centers, research facilities, data centers, and workspaces, alongside residential and commercial infrastructure. The project, with a corpus of ₹10,732 crore, seeks to attract Indian and international AI companies, strengthen the startup ecosystem, and create thousands of jobs, with the goal of making Lucknow a top global AI hub.
