Meta has paused the international rollout of its Ray-Ban Display smart glasses due to strong demand and limited inventory in the United States. The company is prioritizing US orders, with waitlists extending into 2026. New features, including a teleprompter and hands-free messaging via the Meta Neural Band, were announced at CES 2026, alongside expanded pedestrian navigation. The glasses, a collaboration with EssilorLuxottica, allow users to capture photos, stream content, and interact with an AI assistant.
