The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Test House (NTH) to enhance the quality and standards of national highway construction. This collaboration aims to strengthen third-party testing of construction materials and systems, ensuring they meet high standards and comply with national and international codes. NTH will be empanelled as a recognized laboratory, with test results shared via an online portal. The partnership also includes provisions for technical support, joint training, and capacity building to promote uniform quality across highway projects nationwide.
