Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) is launching five new air-conditioned shuttle bus routes to the upcoming Navi Mumbai airport, starting Thursday. These services aim to provide seamless last-mile connectivity from key suburban railway stations, including Belapur, Nerul, Targhar, Kharkopar, and Khandeshwar. The initial fleet of 14 buses will operate at 17-22 minute intervals, with plans for expansion based on demand. The airport's proximity to Targhar railway station, approximately 1.5 km away, is also highlighted as a key access point.
