Blue Jet Healthcare Begins Rs 2,300 Crore Pharma Facility Construction in Andhra Pradesh

Blue Jet Healthcare Ltd is set to begin construction of a Rs 2,300-crore greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing facility at Rambilli Industrial Park in Anakapalli district, Andhra Pradesh. Spanning 102 acres, the plant will produce contrast media intermediates, high-intensity sweeteners, and multipurpose chemistry products, aiming to be operational by FY2028-29. The project is expected to generate 1,750 direct and 250 indirect jobs, enhancing the Visakhapatnam industrial region. The facility will incorporate advanced environmental technologies and aligns with Blue Jet's strategy to expand its global CDMO presence. Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh attended the groundbreaking ceremony, highlighting its significance for North Andhra's industrial growth.
