The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has permitted Ambuja Neotia Group to acquire a 9.4-acre plot within the stalled Batanagar township project for ₹34 crore. This allows Ambuja Neotia to complete its ongoing Usshar residential development, comprising three towers and 557 units. The tribunal has ordered a re-bidding process for the remaining land of the 262-acre project, which was originally intended for a multi-phase real estate development by Riverbank Developers Private Limited. Ambuja Neotia aims to finish the existing construction within two years.
