
India and the UAE aim to double their bilateral trade to $200 billion by 2032, building on the 2022 Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and the 2024 Bilateral Investment Treaty. During a recent meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, India invited UAE sovereign wealth funds to invest in a second infrastructure fund. Discussions also covered strategic infrastructure projects in Gujarat and agreements in energy and space sectors, including a 10-year gas supply deal between HPCL and ADNOC.
