Adani Group plans to invest Rs 1.8 lakh crore in defence manufacturing for the upcoming year, focusing on enhancing capabilities in unmanned and autonomous systems, advanced guided weapons, sensors, and AI-enabled operations. This investment aims to bolster India's indigenous military capabilities and establish Adani Defence Aerospace as a key player in future warfare. The company's hardware was reportedly used in Operation Sindoor, and the investment will also scale up MRO and training infrastructure.
