BHEL Reports Threefold Profit Increase and 16% Revenue Growth in Q3 FY26

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) reported a three-fold increase in consolidated net profit to around Rs 390 crore for the December quarter of fiscal 2025-26, driven by higher revenues and improved project execution. Revenue rose 16-18% year-on-year to approximately Rs 8,473-8,692 crore, supported mainly by growth in the power segment. Operating expenses increased, while finance costs declined. BHEL noted that the impact of new labour codes was not factored into these results. The company also approved short closure of its proposed Varanasi plant scheme.
