Karnataka Delegation Attends WEF Davos 2026 to Advance Investment Projects

Karnataka's delegation, led by Minister M B Patil, is attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos from January 19 to 23, focusing on converting investment proposals into actual projects. The team will hold over 45 high-level meetings with global companies across sectors like manufacturing, renewable energy, and data centres. Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar is reconsidering his earlier cancellation to join the summit, citing party approval and state interests. Since the 2023 Global Investors' Meet, Karnataka has attracted fresh investment proposals worth Rs 1.53 lakh crore, emphasizing ongoing investor engagement and execution readiness.
