
Shankh Air, a new domestic airline, is set to begin operations in March 2026 with three Airbus A320 aircraft, aiming to enhance regional connectivity and democratize air travel for middle-class passengers. The airline, which received a no-objection certificate from the Union Aviation Ministry, plans to expand its fleet and launch international routes by 2028-2029. Chairman Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma emphasized providing good service to make air travel a standard mode of transport.
