BSE and NSE to Open for Trading on Sunday, February 1, 2026, for Union Budget

Indian stock exchanges BSE and NSE will remain open for trading on Sunday, February 1, 2026, coinciding with the Union Budget presentation by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at 11 am. Markets will operate during regular hours from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm, including equity, futures, options, and commodity derivatives segments. However, T0 settlement and auction sessions will not be conducted. This marks a rare Sunday trading session aligned with the Budget, continuing recent practices of weekend openings on Budget days.
