
HFCL Limited has secured a five-year global supply agreement worth approximately USD 1.10 billion (around Rs 10,159 crore) to provide high-quality, high-fibre-count optical fiber cables through its overseas wholly owned subsidiary. The contract, starting in 2026 and extending through 2030 with an automatic two-year extension, involves supplying multi-million fibre kilometres annually based on customer specifications. This marks HFCL's first large-scale, long-term optical fiber cable supply deal, enhancing its position in the global market. The customer remains undisclosed, and the deal excludes related-party transactions.
