Godrej Agrovet is expanding its crop protection business by launching new products and increasing crop coverage to counter a slowdown in the agrochemical industry caused by erratic weather, crop delays, and lower farm incomes. A new manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat, will support these efforts. The latest product, TAKAI, developed with ISK Japan's technology, targets pests in rice, maize, chickpea, and soybean, with approvals pending for cabbage and chilli. The company aims to improve pest management and yield stability through innovative solutions.
