EPFO and India Post Launch Free Doorstep Digital Life Certificate Service for Pensioners

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has partnered with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) to offer a free doorstep Digital Life Certificate (DLC) service for Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS) pensioners. This initiative aims to assist elderly pensioners, especially those with mobility or technology challenges, by having postmen visit their homes to complete the Aadhaar-based biometric verification process. Pensioners will not incur any charges, as EPFO will cover the service costs for successful DLC submissions, ensuring uninterrupted pension payments.
