Skoda Auto Volkswagen India reported a 36% increase in domestic vehicle sales to 117,000 units in 2025, marking its highest-ever annual performance. Total sales, including exports, reached approximately 159,500 units. The company highlighted its Make-in-India strategy, with over 2 million vehicles manufactured locally and exports surpassing 715,000 units. The MQB-A0-IN platform, developed specifically for India, underpinned growth. The company plans to expand its portfolio and network in 2026, aiming to strengthen India as a global manufacturing hub.
