RVNL Completes Trial Run Connecting Kazipet Coach Manufacturing Unit to Rail Network

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has successfully completed a 13 km trial run connecting the Railway Manufacturing Unit (RMU) at Kazipet, Telangana, to the Indian Railways network. Spanning 160 acres, the RMU is positioned at a strategic junction on the Delhi-Chennai corridor and aims to enhance rolling stock production capacity. The facility, featuring green initiatives like solar power and rainwater harvesting, is expected to be commissioned by March 2026, marking a key step toward operational readiness.
