Air India has restored its last grounded Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, VT-ALL, completing the revival of 30 long-grounded planes from its legacy fleet. Grounded since February 2020, VT-ALL underwent an extensive overhaul at the Nagpur MRO facility starting May 2025, involving over 3,000 new components and 4,000 maintenance tasks. This restoration supports Air India's capacity rebuilding and long-haul expansion following its return to the Tata Group, with all work conducted under strict regulatory oversight and Boeing's technical support.
