Mahindra's Japan JV to Exit Agricultural Machinery Business by FY2027

Mahindra Mahindra Ltd's Japan-based joint venture, Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery Co. Ltd (MAM), has decided to exit the agricultural machinery business by the first half of fiscal year 2027 due to sustained losses and challenges in long-term viability. The company will cease research, production, and sales but continue supplying spare parts and honoring warranties. MAM plans to dissolve non-continuing operations through liquidation and provide re-employment support to affected employees, aiming to minimize stakeholder inconvenience.
