Airbus Opens Bengaluru Technology Centre to Expand Engineering and Digital Capabilities

Airbus inaugurated a new Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru on March 6, expanding its engineering, digital, procurement, and customer service capabilities in India. The 880,000 sq ft facility can accommodate around 5,000 employees and serves as a key hub integrated across the aircraft lifecycle. Airbus's sourcing from India has grown from $500 million in 2019 to over $1.5 billion currently, with expectations to exceed $2 billion by 2030. The centre supports the company’s Make in India mission and strengthens Bengaluru’s role as an aerospace hub.
