The Consumer Guidance Society of India (CGSI) plans to file a class action lawsuit against IndiGo for mass flight cancellations in December 2025. The airline cancelled over 4,500 flights due to pilot duty time issues, stranding many passengers. While IndiGo refunded over Rs 900 crore and offered Rs 10,000 travel vouchers, CGSI deems these inadequate and plans to seek five times airfares plus expenses. The Ministry of Civil Aviation is investigating and has reduced IndiGo's schedule.
