Andhra Pradesh Advances Time-Bound Energy Efficiency Projects with Rs 400 Crore Investment Target

Andhra Pradesh is promoting time-bound implementation of energy efficiency projects to boost sustainable industrial growth, with over Rs 400 crore worth of viable projects identified through five Investment Bazar events. The State Energy Efficiency Policy 2024-2028 mandates compliance with the Energy Conservation Building Code across 123 Urban Local Bodies, with more than 1,800 compliant buildings approved. The Assistance in Deploying Energy Efficient Technologies scheme offers interest subvention to enterprises in 14 key sectors, aiming to mobilize public and private capital and advance climate goals.
