Titagarh Rail Systems Targets March Completion for First Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Rake

Titagarh Rail Systems, in partnership with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), is producing 80 Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets, each with 16 coaches. Production has begun, with the first rake's car bodies expected to be completed by March 31, 2026. The first complete train is targeted for rollout in the third quarter of the next financial year. The Ministry of Railways awarded contracts to three companies, including Titagarh-BHEL, BEML, and Kinet Railway Solutions, for manufacturing these trains.
