Adani Total Gas, a joint venture between Adani Group and TotalEnergies SE, has raised industrial gas prices from around Rs 40 to Rs 119 per standard cubic meter for consumption exceeding 40% of the daily contract. The company attributed the hike to reduced gas availability caused by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, particularly disruptions in LNG supply routes following attacks near the Strait of Hormuz. Operational constraints due to upstream gas curtailment have impacted supply, prompting the price increase effective from Tuesday.
