Tripura-Mizoram Natural Gas Pipeline Project 45% Complete, On Track for 2027

The natural gas pipeline project connecting Tripura and Mizoram is 45% complete, with an expected finish by December 2027. Spanning 119.5 km, the pipeline will start at Panisagar in Tripura and end near Aizawl in Mizoram, supplying affordable gas for domestic, commercial, industrial, and transport uses. Officials, including Mizoram's Civil Supplies Minister B Lalchhanzova, highlighted the project's potential to boost employment and industrial growth in Mizoram, with household connections managed by Tripura Natural Gas Corporation Limited.
