The Vande Bharat Express has transported nearly 3.75 lakh passengers in Jammu and Kashmir over the past six months. Launched on June 6, the train connects Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar, providing all-weather rail connectivity. The Jammu Railway Division also reported increased freight movement, successful handling of emergency situations, and growth in non-fare revenue during its first year of operation.
