RBI Announces Sovereign Gold Bond Premature Redemption Schedule for April–September 2026

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the premature redemption schedule for 33 Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) tranches issued between 2018-19 and 2021-22. Eligible investors can submit redemption requests during specified windows from April to September 2026, with July having the highest number of redemption dates. These tranches have completed the minimum five-year lock-in period, allowing early exit before the standard eight-year maturity. RBI cautions that dates may change due to unscheduled holidays.
