India's Vande Bharat Sleeper train has successfully completed high-speed trials, reaching 180 kmph between Kota and Nagda under the supervision of the Commissioner of Railway Safety. A "water test," where glasses of water remained stable despite the speed, demonstrated the train's advanced technology and ride comfort. Manufactured by BEML, the sleeper version is designed for long-distance overnight travel with AC berths and modern amenities, aiming to upgrade India's rail network.
