A Singapore-bound Air India flight AI 2380, carrying around 190 passengers, returned to Delhi early Thursday after receiving an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) fire warning shortly after takeoff. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was airborne for about an hour before safely landing back in Delhi around 1 am. Air India confirmed the precautionary return due to a suspected technical issue and arranged an alternative aircraft to fly passengers to Singapore. The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
