Guwahati's Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport recorded 7.01 million passenger movements in 2025, including 3.5 million domestic arrivals and 3.4 million departures, alongside over 90,000 international passengers. The airport also achieved record cargo handling, with 1,362 metric tonnes in December and a single-day record of 60 metric tonnes. A daily passenger record of 22,089 was set on October 5. Airport management attributes this growth to infrastructure development and expanded international routes to Paro, Bangkok, and Singapore.
