Israel's tourism sector is cautiously recovering in 2025, with an estimated 1.3 million foreign visitors expected by year's end. The Ministry of Tourism reported that easing travel warnings and restored airline routes facilitated this return. The United States, France, and the UK were the largest source markets. The ministry also highlighted efforts to support the hotel industry, which housed evacuees, and noted shifts in tourist behavior, including shorter stays and increased spending per trip. Visiting friends and relatives remained the primary reason for travel.
