KPI Green Energy Secures Rs 979 Crore Financing from Canara Bank for Gujarat Wind Project

KPI Green Energy has secured Rs 979 crore in financing from Canara Bank to develop a 150 MW wind power project in Gujarat's Bharuch and Bhavnagar districts. The funding includes a Rs 931 crore term loan and Rs 48 crore bank guarantee, supporting a total project cost of Rs 1,241.68 crore with a 75:25 debt-equity ratio. Backed by 25-year power purchase agreements with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, the project aims to contribute to KPI's 10 GW renewable capacity target by 2030, with long-term financing providing financial stability and execution support.
