Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link Project Scheduled for Completion in April 2026

The Mumbai-Pune Expressway's long-delayed Missing Link project, involving tunnels, cable-stayed bridges, and viaducts through challenging Western Ghats terrain, is now scheduled for completion by April 1, 2026. Managed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, the 6,695-crore project aims to reduce travel time by 25 minutes and ease congestion between Khalapur and Lonavala.
