Adani Plans Over Rs 20,000 Crore Investment in Airport City Projects Across Six Airports
Adani Airport City Ltd, a subsidiary of Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, announced plans to invest over Rs 20,000 crore in developing integrated airport cities across six airports in five states: Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Guwahati. The first phase covers 655 acres with around 22 million square feet of mixed-use infrastructure, including hotels, offices, retail, entertainment, and convention centers. Nearly 70% of the investment will focus on Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The project aims to create urban districts connected to transport networks, inspired by global airport city models, to boost economic activity, employment, and urban growth around key aviation hubs.
