Deepinder Goyal Steps Down as Eternal CEO; Albinder Dhindsa Named Successor

Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato and group CEO of its parent company Eternal Ltd., announced his resignation effective February 1, 2026. He will transition to the role of Vice Chairman, subject to shareholder approval, to focus on pursuing new high-risk ventures outside Eternal's strategic scope. Albinder Dhindsa, CEO and co-founder of Blinkit, has been appointed as Eternal's new group CEO, taking over day-to-day operations. Eternal recently reported a 73% rise in quarterly profit, driven by growth in quick commerce and food delivery.
