Tata Motors Advances EV Lineup with Price Cuts and Upcoming Model Updates

Tata Motors is advancing its electric vehicle (EV) lineup with cost and technology improvements. The company has reduced prices for the updated Punch EV by up to Rs 1.8 lakh through drivetrain integration and feature rationalisation, despite larger batteries. Tata expects some EV models to near price parity with internal combustion engine vehicles, especially in the sub Rs 10 lakh segment. Additionally, Tata is preparing a refreshed Tiago EV with updated styling and potential mechanical upgrades, including a new integrated drive unit to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
