Jio Payments Bank Launches UPI-Based Cardless Cash Withdrawal Service

Jio Payments Bank, a subsidiary of Jio Financial Services, has introduced a UPI-based cash withdrawal service through its Business Correspondent network. This feature allows customers, especially in rural and semi-urban areas, to withdraw cash by scanning a UPI QR code and authorizing transactions via their UPI app, eliminating the need for debit cards or ATMs. The initiative aims to enhance financial inclusion by bridging digital payments with physical cash access and supporting first-time digital users with assisted, secure transactions.
