Tamil Nadu has secured 65% of the investment proposals under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), totaling Rs 27,166 crore, from three major projects: Motherson, Foxconn, and Tata Electronics. These projects are expected to create 23,451 jobs, significantly boosting the Apple ecosystem in the state. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology approved 22 projects nationwide, committing Rs 41,863 crore in incentives to strengthen India's domestic electronics supply chain.
