
Last week, the combined market valuation of three leading Indian firms—State Bank of India (SBI), Infosys, and ICICI Bank—increased by Rs 75,855 crore despite a largely sluggish stock market. SBI led gains with a Rs 39,045 crore rise, followed by Infosys and ICICI Bank. Conversely, seven other top companies, including Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, and Larsen & Toubro, saw a combined market value decline of Rs 75,550 crore. The overall market showed mixed movements with minor changes in Sensex and Nifty indices.
