
Abhishek Poddar, Macquarie Asset Management's India country head, has resigned after an eight-year tenure. He is currently on gardening leave and will formally exit by the end of January. Poddar joined Macquarie in 2018, significantly contributing to investment platforms in infrastructure and renewable energy. His departure follows that of Deep Gupta, another managing director, who left in December after 18 years. Poddar previously spent 18 years at AT Kearney before joining Macquarie.
