DPIIT Recognizes Gujarat, Arunachal, Goa as Best Performers in Startup Rankings

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) released its 5th States' Startup Ranking, recognizing Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, and Goa as 'Best Performers' for their strong startup ecosystems. Himachal Pradesh and Punjab were named 'Top Performers' for their sustained efforts, with Himachal noted for supporting women-led startups and rural initiatives. The rankings, covering 34 states and UTs, aim to encourage healthy competition and collaboration to strengthen India's startup landscape, with awards presented at a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
