Larsen & Toubro Clarifies Kuwait Tender Reports, Wins Major West Bengal Bridge Contract

Larsen & Toubro (L T) clarified that oil project tenders in Kuwait, reportedly facing cancellation and rebidding worth $8.7 billion, are not part of its order book, following a share price decline. Separately, L T's Transportation Infrastructure business secured a significant order valued between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore to build a 3.2-km extradosed cable-stayed bridge over the Muri Ganga River in West Bengal. The bridge will provide all-weather connectivity to Sagar Island, benefiting over 200,000 residents and supporting pilgrimage to the Ganga Sagar Mela.
