
In a holiday-shortened week, the market capitalization of seven of the top-ten most valued Indian companies declined by over Rs 35,000 crore. State Bank of India (SBI) experienced the largest erosion in value. Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Larsen Toubro, and LIC also saw their valuations decrease. Conversely, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, and Infosys gained market value, with HDFC Bank showing the largest increase.
