Indian Driver in UAE Wins Rs 10 Crore Lottery Jackpot After 15 Years of Tickets

Vibeesh Palliyali, a Sharjah-based Indian pickup driver, won the Dh15 million (approximately Rs 37 crore) Big Ticket lottery jackpot after purchasing tickets monthly for 15 years. The prize is shared among four winners, leaving Palliyali with about Dh4 million (around Rs 10 crore). He bought the winning ticket online on February 28, encouraged by relatives, and plans to use the winnings to return to India and settle with his family. The win was confirmed during his work routine, initially mistaken for a promotional call.
