In December 2025, India's Consumer Price Index for Agricultural Labourers (CPI-AL) and Rural Labourers (CPI-RL) slightly declined by 0.28 and 0.27 points to 137.12 and 137.03, respectively. Year-on-year inflation rates rose marginally to 0.04% for agricultural and 0.11% for rural labourers. Food prices continued to fall, with food inflation at -1.80% for agricultural and -1.73% for rural labourers, reflecting lower food costs compared to the previous year, amid mixed trends across other expenditure groups.
