AM Green Group to Build 1 GW AI Data Centre in Uttar Pradesh with $25 Billion Investment

AM Green Group, backed by Greenko founders, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Uttar Pradesh's InvestUP to develop a 1 GW AI compute data centre in Greater Noida. The phased project, with an estimated investment of USD 25 billion, aims for initial capacity by 2028 and full operation by 2030. Powered entirely by carbon-free energy, the facility will support global AI workloads, housing around 500,000 high-performance chipsets. This initiative aligns with India's Viksit Bharat 2047 vision and Uttar Pradesh's goal to become a data centre hub.
