KERC Revises Electricity Tariffs: Commercial, Industrial Rates Up; Agricultural Rates Reduced

The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) on March 3 revised electricity tariffs for 2025-26 following a review petition by five state-run power distribution companies. Tariffs for select commercial and industrial consumers were increased by up to 10 paise per unit to recover about ₹1,255 crore, with specific fixed and energy charges detailed for various consumer categories.
