L T Vyoma Begins Construction of 40 MW AI-Ready Data Centre in Navi Mumbai

Larsen & Toubro's digital infrastructure arm, L T Vyoma, has initiated construction of a 40 MW green, AI-ready data centre at Mahape, Navi Mumbai, as part of a planned 100 MW campus. Designed for high-density AI and mission-critical workloads, the facility features direct-to-chip liquid cooling and aims for sustainable, low-carbon operations with renewable energy integration. L T plans to expand data centre capacity to 200 MW nationwide, competing with firms like TCS, which is developing a separate 120 MW facility in Navi Mumbai targeting hyperscalers and AI firms. L T emphasizes end-to-end ownership to offer cost-effective services amid growing demand driven by cloud adoption, AI workloads, and data localisation in India.
