Jindal Steel announced plans to double its structural steel manufacturing capacity at its Raigarh plant to 2.4 million tonnes per annum by mid-2028. This expansion, which includes a new mill and technology upgrades, aims to increase the availability of heavy and ultra-heavy steel sections to support India's growing infrastructure demand. The company currently has a capacity of 1.2 MTPA at the facility.
