DMRC Partners with Bharat Taxi to Enhance Last-Mile Connectivity at Metro Stations

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has partnered with Sahkar Taxi Cooperative Ltd., operating the Bharat Taxi platform, to enhance first- and last-mile connectivity at 10 metro stations. This initiative will offer bike taxis, auto-rickshaws, and cabs through a marketplace model, aiming to provide affordable, reliable, and safe transport options. A pilot phase will launch dedicated bike taxi services at Millennium City Centre and Botanical Garden stations by January 31, 2026. The Bharat Taxi app will integrate with DMRC's Sarthi app for seamless booking and travel planning.
